What is Physical Therapy (PT)?




Physical therapy is the preservation, enhancement, or restoration of movement and physical function impaired or threatened by disability, injury, or disease. PT develops, maintains, and restores maximum movement and functional ability.

Why would I need Physical Therapy?

Our therapists are skilled in treating outpatients and inpatients for the following:

Big® and Loud® Program
Pre and post orthopedic surgery
Joint replacements
Sports injuries
Sprains of joints/strains of muscles
Pain management for neck, shoulder, back, hip, knee, ankle, and foot
Muscle weakness
Balance problems
Gait abnormalities
Postural problems
Neurological disorders such as stroke, head injuries, and Parkinson's disease
Vertigo and dizziness

What would Physical Therapy do with me?


Therapeutic exercise such as ROM, strengthening, and stretching
Patient education
Modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation
Manual therapy such as traction and joint mobilization
Kinesiotaping
Gait training
Assistive devices
Balance training

Physical Therapy Hours:

Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Saturday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
