Brandon Phelps, D.O.

Biography:

Dr. Brandon Phelps graduated locally from HLV High School, receiving his undergraduate from Loras College. He completed his medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

As a family medicine physician I have a wide area of interest from newborns to geriatrics. My philosophy on medicine is that we can prevent many health issues and control medical illnesses better by working together as a team. The primary goal is to prevent medical disease through routine physicals, monitoring, and healthy lifestyle. When prevention of a disease is not possible then my goal is to work with each individual to find the best management that we decide on together. I see myself as the person who is there to help educate and provide people with accurate information so each individual can make the best decision for themselves.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with our family, being outdoors, sports (Hawkeyes, Cubs, Packers), watching movies, food and traveling. We moved back to Iowa to be closer to family and excited for our future here!
