Meet the Team: Administration

Teresa Sauerbrei is the Chief Clinical Officer at Compass Memorial Healthcare, where she oversees clinical operations, ensures high-quality patient care, and leads regulatory and strategic clinical initiatives.

A graduate of the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Teresa began her career at Compass Memorial in 1995 as a staff RN in both inpatient care and the emergency department. She has since held several leadership positions, including Associate Director and Director of Patient Care Services.

Throughout her tenure, Teresa has been instrumental in developing and expanding key services such as cardiac rehabilitation, oncology and chemotherapy care, and surgical services. Her commitment to clinical excellence, staff development, and innovative patient care continues to advance Compass Memorial’s mission of delivering remarkable healthcare to the communities we serve.

Wendy Jordan serves as Chief Financial Officer at Compass Memorial Healthcare, overseeing financial strategy, budgeting, and operations in support of the hospital’s mission to deliver exceptional care to the communities it serves.

With over 23 years of experience in finance and operations, Wendy brings expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and leadership. Before joining CMH, she spent 14 years in manufacturing and the past nine years in healthcare finance, focusing on optimizing performance within Critical Access Hospitals.

A lifelong Marengo resident, Wendy takes pride in supporting the hospital that serves her friends and neighbors. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an MBA from Mount Mercy University and is active in IHA, HFMA, and ACHE. Outside of work, Wendy enjoys time with family, especially her grandchildren, and volunteering with local groups such as Kiwanis, Rotary, and Junior Achievement.

Jillissa Chvala serves as the Director of Ambulatory Clinics and EPIC Administrator at Compass Memorial Healthcare. With more than a decade of experience at CMH, she has worked across multiple departments—including medical/surgical, business office, and organizational performance—before focusing on the Rural Health Clinics and expanding outreach services.

Passionate about rural healthcare, Jillissa is dedicated to improving access and services in local communities. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from Purdue University Global and maintains a Rural Health Clinic Professional certification. Jillissa is also involved in the Iowa Association of Rural Health Clinics.

A Marengo resident, Jillissa is active in the community and serves on the Iowa Valley Community School District Board of Education and the Iowa Valley Foundation Board. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, attending her children’s activities, and being outdoors golfing, biking, hiking, and exploring new places.

Natasha Hauschilt serves as the Director of Ancillary Services and Organizational Performance at Compass Memorial Healthcare, where she oversees ancillary operations, leads performance monitoring and data analysis, and ensures regulatory compliance to support high-quality patient care.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Grand View University and a Master of Healthcare Administration from Maryville University, and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Since joining Compass Memorial in 2005 as a Quality Coordinator, Natasha has held several leadership roles, including Privacy Officer, Medical Staff Coordinator, Admissions Manager, Risk Manager, Compliance Officer, and Director of Organizational Performance.

Natasha is also active in statewide quality initiatives, presenting at conferences and teaching for the Iowa Hospital Association’s quality management program. In her community, she serves as President of the MarenGO Community Development Organization and sits on multiple local boards. She enjoys spending her free time with her family and her dog.

Mary Warwick serves as the Director of Foundation and Administrative Services at Compass Memorial Healthcare. Since joining CMH in 2003, she worked closely with the CEO and Foundation for many years before being named Director of the Foundation. In this role, she leads initiatives to meet the hospital’s financial needs by organizing fundraising events, cultivating donor relationships and collaborating with families on bequests and memorial contributions to advance the hospital’s mission. Mary also serves as the Community Liaison, building connections with local schools and organizations throughout the service area.

Before joining CMH, Mary worked in city administration in Olathe, Kansas, while raising her children. Born at the Marengo hospital and raised nearby, she now lives in the countryside outside her hometown of Deep River.

In her free time, Mary enjoys reading, baking, spending time at the lake, and making memories with her six grandchildren.

Megan Weilbacher serves as the Marketing Manager at Compass Memorial Healthcare, overseeing all communication and marketing efforts for the hospital and its clinics. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Advertising with minors in Business and Psychology and brings well-rounded experience from her work in communications, project management, and account management at a marketing agency.

Megan’s background includes expertise in public relations, social media, digital marketing, videography, website development, and graphic design.

A Keota native and 2013 graduate of Keota High School, Megan now lives in Williamsburg with her husband and children.
