Dr. Chirantan Ghosh, MD, and Mindy Martin, AONCP, bring specialized expertise in both oncology and hematology, allowing them to treat a wide range of cancers and blood disorders. Their dual specialization is especially important for managing complex conditions such as leukemia and other blood cancers, which require an integrated, multidisciplinary approach.

Strengthening Rural Access to Advanced Cancer Treatment
CMH’s Center of Excellence designation was awarded through a State of Iowa’s Rural Health Transformation Fund grant. This grant supports enhancements to CMH’s cancer care program, including implementation of the Epic Beacon Oncology Module, which will standardize chemotherapy protocols, treatment plans, and documentation to further strengthen quality and safety in cancer treatment. CMH received $500,000 through this grant.
The funding will also support expanded patient support resources for individuals and families navigating a cancer diagnosis.
