We’re excited to welcome Sydney Fontinel, DNP, to the Compass Memorial Healthcare provider team!
Sydney has been part of the Compass Memorial Healthcare team since 2022, gaining valuable experience in the Emergency Services, Inpatient Unit, and Oncology-Hematology Infusion Center while pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
Sydney earned her DNP in 2026. Prior to completing her doctoral degree, she earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a healthcare emphasis in 2024 and Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2023, both from Mount Mercy University.
As a provider, Sydney offers comprehensive family medical care for patients of all ages. She serves as a float provider among the Williamsburg Family Medical Clinic, Marengo Family Medical Clinic, and Colonies Family Medical Clinic. She also provides inpatient care.
A Marengo native, Sydney graduated from Iowa Valley High School in 2019. She now lives in Marengo with her husband, Caden, who is from Victor, and their yellow Labrador Maverick.
Outside of work, Sydney enjoys spending time with her family and friends, running, traveling, and trying new coffee spots.
