Certified Surgical Technologist

Compass Memorial Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Surgical Technologist to join our healthcare team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program

  • Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential through NBSTSA

  • Active certification in good standing

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

  • Knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and aseptic practices

  • Ability to assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care

  • Experience preparing operating rooms, equipment, and supplies

  • Ability to anticipate surgeon needs during procedures

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift or position patients

  • Compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards
