Dietary Cook/Cafe Aide

To complete all necessary functions and duties related to cafeteria meal production and service. To ensure the presentation and cleanliness of the cafeteria and dining areas are up to standard for all state and federal regulations. To ensure customers service is a priority and to follow our standards of behavior to achieve an exceptional dining experience for our customers.

Minimum Qualifications

•  High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) preferred.
• Certificate in Simplified Diets within 90 days of hire.
• Certificate in Food Safety and Sanitation within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractures, and decimals that would be used in recipe conversion.
• Must possess organizational skills/traits.
• Must have the ability to work with associated technologies relevant to the position.
• Must possess the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in written form, needs and solutions with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to define problems, collect information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Must possess valid Mandatory Reporter training for Child and Dependent Adult Abuse, or within 6 months of hire.
