What happens during an in-home sleep study?

An in-home sleep study uses a portable, easy-to-use device that monitors your breathing and other vital signs while you sleep. Patients scheduled for an at-home test will pick up the equipment at the hospital, where our team will show you how to use it so you can complete the study in the comfort of your own home. After the study, a qualified sleep specialist reviews the results to provide accurate insight into whether sleep apnea is present. 

What does a hospital-based sleep study look like?

A hospital sleep study typically involves an overnight stay in a private, sleep-friendly room. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by our team and guided through the process. A trained technician will apply a series of sensors to monitor your sleep patterns and vital signs throughout the night, ensuring a safe and thorough evaluation.
