Channon McKibben, CRNA, provides pain management and anesthesia services at Compass Memorial Healthcare. He is dedicated to improving patients’ quality of life through compassionate, individualized care, whether guiding them safely through surgery or helping manage chronic pain.
Channon began his nursing career at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where he spent nine years in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). He earned his Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) degree from the University of Iowa in 2019 and completed a specialized pain fellowship at the University of South Florida.
Being a Marengo resident, he values caring for patients close to home and building long-term relationships within the community. Known for his sense of humor, Channon believes a positive attitude helps put patients at ease. Outside of work, he enjoys cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes and Kansas City Chiefs and spending time with family and friends on the Mississippi River.
Channon is passionate about helping patients find relief from pain and providing safe, high-quality anesthesia care so they can return to doing the things they enjoy most.
