A graduate of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Dr. Miller completed his General Surgery residency at Brooke Army Medical Center and served as a U.S. Army officer at Fort Polk, Louisiana, and Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Before joining Compass Memorial in 2017, he practiced for 15 years in Mississippi, focusing on general and trauma surgery.
Dr. Miller also holds a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from the University of Colorado Denver and has been a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons for nearly 30 years. Outside of work, he enjoys playing piano and fly fishing in Iowa and Minnesota’s Driftless Area.
