Dr. Robert Thomas is board certified in Otolaryngology and Sleep Medicine. He sees patients of all ages with general ear, nose and throat problems, as well as sleep disorders. Dr. Thomas grew up in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio. He attended Ohio University where he graduated summa cum laude and was awarded Chemistry Student of the Year.
Dr. Thomas continued to medical school at Ohio State University and graduated cum laude.
Dr. Thomas attended the University of Iowa in 1999, where he completed his residency training in Otolaryngology. Following his residency in 2004, he moved to Chicago, where he practiced medicine for 15 years. Dr. Thomas returned to Iowa in 2020 and now provides services at Compass Memorial Healthcare in Marengo at the Hospital and ENT Medical Services in Iowa City.

Dr. Thomas practices every Monday at Compass Memorial Healthcare and also sees patients at ENT Medical Services.
Outside of work, Dr. Thomas enjoys running marathons, hiking, traveling, watching sports, and spending time with his wife, an Iowa City native, and daughter.
