Dr. Doehrmann is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in comprehensive shoulder and elbow care for patients of all ages. He focuses on diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the bones, joints, ligaments, and tendons of the musculoskeletal system.
A Williamsburg, Iowa native, Dr. Doehrmann graduated from Williamsburg High School and earned his undergraduate degree from Central College. He went on to complete medical school at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by a residency at Ascension St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Madison Heights, Michigan. He then pursued advanced fellowship training in shoulder and elbow surgery at the Texas Education and Research Foundation for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Doehrmann is one of only a few surgeons in Iowa with fellowship training in complex shoulder replacement surgery. He is proud to provide advanced, compassionate orthopedic care to the community he calls home.
