Taylor Felker, DNP, is a family nurse practitioner at the Marengo Family Medical Clinic, providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (2021) and Master of Science in Nursing (2014) from Mount Mercy University, as well as her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Mercy College in 2009.
Before joining family practice, Taylor gained extensive clinical experience in emergency care, post-surgical nursing, and nursing administration. Her professional interests include newborn, infant, and pediatric care; family planning and menopause management; weight management and nutrition; preventive medicine; and minor office procedures such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, joint injections, and skin procedures. She also has a strong interest in managing complex medical conditions.
Originally from Walker, Iowa, Taylor graduated from North Linn High School in 2005 and appreciates the values of small-town living. She moved to Marengo in 2021 with her children, Jackson and Brody, who attend Iowa Valley Elementary. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, and thrifting.
